North America vs. the A-241/BIS Device
A reader named doilum has pointed our geotechnical attention to these "secret Russian plans" for the "complete removal of [the] North American continent."

"According to this top secret Russian document," dated February 26, 1973, we read, "Soviet military engineers" were interested in what they refer to as "assumed changes in geographical structure of Earth continents which may happen as a result of correction of gravity field of the Earth by the A-241/BIS device."
The A-241/BIS device! I wonder what Rem Koolhaas could do with that.
These "plans" were signed by KGB General Chief Yuri Andropov.
While I won't exactly lose sleep over whether or not this is real, it certainly does take warfare to a whole new level.
Notice, of course, that they leave Cuba intact.

Thats the year that James Bond: "Let live and Let Die" came out. Looks like Rodger Moore was busy that year, considering that we're still here.
This document is a silly photoshoped fake made by the silly Russians at EnglishRussia to fool unwary foriegners for their amusement, to see how widely it can get spread around the web.
Well, again, it's a good thing that I'm not losing sleep over its authenticity.
