100 Days
There is still time to register for Imagining Recovery, a design competition sponsored by lab\RAD in association with C-LAB and several others. The competition is pinned around the first 100 days of the Obama Administration (submissions are due April 29, Obama's 100th day in office). It "calls on designers to act as mediators between policy and the public by producing an image of the lived experience of [national economic] recovery, increasing the transparency and intelligibility of the charts, maps, and graphics of recovery.gov."
Be sure to check out the submission guidelines, which make all this a bit more clear.
The winners will be announced on May 13 at Studio X in New York City; they will then be published in Volume, printed in a post-competition pamphlet, and made available for general download. Good luck!
